The award-winning MC7R preamplifier is the ideal match for Ming Da’s monoblock power amplifiers. Utilizing 12AX7 tubes for gain and 12AU7 tubes for output, the MC7-R offers a very wide frequency response with a smooth and warm sound, achieved through an extremely short signal path that minimizes sound degradation. The chassis is made of polished stainless steel, while the front and rear panels are crafted from solid anodized light alloy (10/6mm). The transformer housing is made of painted steel. The two transformers are encapsulated in a special resin to reduce noise. Volume control is handled by the renowned blue "Alps" potentiometer, chosen for its superior sound quality.
